I think this is the first Modus Vivendi swimwear that I’ve looked at? Anyway, strong blue here with white piping for a nice bold look – and the peekaboo hip opening is quite fun too! The pouch also looks nice… Modus Vivendi always is stylish, and this swim brief is no exception. I’d like to maybe get a pair like this myself, but I think the waist is too low for me to pull off (and I’d worry about flabbiness through the peekaboo!)

I realize that Fruit of the Loom, despite is ubiquity, has yet to make it to one of my reviews so far, personal or reblog. That oversight is now being corrected!

The fabric on this pair doesn’t look amazing – looks like it’s a very “flat” material that can’t decide whether it’s trying to be a soft, cotton-y pair or a more lightweight or even athletic pair. That said, the length of the legs looks like it’d be something I appreciate – maybe not quite as long as I would like, but still some nice substantial legs nonetheless. Also, that’s a fairly shapely pouch for such a generic brand, not to mention it’s on a traditional vertical fly! I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to trying this pair out, and maybe I’d be surprised by the fabric.

First post back in a while, so let’s do some basic briefs to begin with! Not much I can say about this pair of grey CK briefs that I didn’t say about some grey CK boxer-briefs a while back… Love the grey, love the (big! bulgy!) pouch, fabric looks great… The one different thing of course is the leg length, and this pair of briefs looks like it’s a full-coverage backside, which I generally like for briefs, especially everyday-wear pairs like this.

Also, I gotta say: only while typing this quick thing up did I notice that the guy here has a little bit of back hanging over the waistband just behind his hip. It’s small and hard to notice, but something I personally always worry about when taking my own pictures since, on myself, I always think it make me look fat… This guy here clearly is not fat and is super-hot, so seeing that tiny bit of elastic overhang honestly makes me feel a lot better about myself.

Not quite a comeback

Hi all! As you can probably tell, the move from Tumblr really hasn’t gone so well thus far. Keeping up the energy for writing posts for my own pairs – or even “reblogging” pics from elsewhere – has been a lot harder than thought.

That said, now that summer’s starting, I’m going to try to revive the blog, even if it’s a very low-key, slower pace. FWIW, I have a bunch of pictures of myself taken, just none of the associated write-ups done. We’ll see how this goes.

Random bedtime outfit

Me, modeling red with hints of blue!

One thing I’ve added to my blog since moving here to WordPress is a new tag for “outfits”. As I’ve mentioned before, I love pairing underwear with other items of clothing; I noticed while fixing categories and links and such that I talked about outfit fun enough to think it deserves an official tag.

Anyway, here I am with an Andrew Christian Almost Naked trunk and a Modus Vivendi talk top, ready to head to bed tonight. Felt sexy enough to consider sharing my sleepy style with y’all. 🙂

Getting back on track

Just spent parts of the last two days going through and fixing links in all my old posts as well as adding categories to them! Just about every post of the last 8m or so now has a category and fixed links, which amount to a bit more than half of the blog overall.

Anyway, the other things I did today was take some new pics! I go back to work tomorrow, but hopefully I’ll get around to writing new reviews soon. I think, once I get a queue built up again, I’ll try for a post every four days or so.

I’ll try to intersperse those with “reblog” reviews like I have previously, but I’ll have to figure out exactly what that means here on WordPress. I may rely on finding pictures on Tumblr still or on Sharesome (yes I’ve joined there too) to copy and paste into this blog. I don’t know of an easy way to “reblog” WordPress posts from other people, or even how to easily find other men’s underwear blogs to find such posts in.

I do have some other ideas of what to do for posts, though. I’m thinking of doing grouped reviews of brands overall, or specific lines of underwear within brands (i.e. the “Feel” line from Ergowear, or any “Almost Naked” pairs from Andrew Christian). Whatever I do, I’ll try to keep posts coming here!

All imported!

Everything from my Tumblr has now been migrated here! I’ll still have to correct links, change some tags into categories, and I kinda want to figure out all the customization options to make the posts here look better, but I’ll get to all that eventually.

In the meantime, I think I’ll be taking a break from making new posts. I’ll start adding fresh content in the new year, assuming I haven’t migrated again.
