Andrew Christian – MASSIVE Animal Attraction Brief – Animal Attraction print – M

068

Material: 87% Polyester, 13% Spandex, this fabric feels like it can’t decide if it wants to be stretchy or not. This is probably a difference between the black base material and the golden overlay on the outside, with the shiny gold probably the limiting factor. The black base material is actually quite see-through if you hold the pair up, meaning it’s rather lightweight, but you can’t really tell while wearing the pair.
Aesthetic: Flashy and exotic! I mean, there’s not much else to say about it – though I will point out that the Greek-style patterning on the waistband is rather cool too. For much of this review, be comparing this pair to the Justin Case Zebra brief I reviewed a long time ago, for obvious aesthetic reasons.
Waistband: Pretty typical for waistbands, especially fashion waistbands. By that, I meant it’s a nice, fairly soft elastic material, though maybe not quite as stretchy as some other waistbands. It won’t cut in to you by any means, and you won’t notice it much, but it might be slightly less forgiving in the sizing that the JC Zebra brief does. The tag in the back is somewhat large, and while it’s not stiff, it’s not super-soft either. Fashion-forward as this pair is, the waistband sits on your hips.
Pouch: This is quite a pouch! Which I guess is expected of the MASSIVE line. It’s got an incredible shape, and the relative stiffness of the material means this shape will hold no matter what you do! On one hand, it’s an excellent visual, very good at promoting your junk whether you’re standing or sitting, and fun to grab; on the other hand, you are forced to wear your willie downward, and I think it might get a big problematic if you were to get a boner.
Backside: Not too much to say here! The material definitely makes it feel like it’s holding your cheeks in. It does provide a tad bit more coverage than the Zebra brief does.
Legs: Despite the fabric overall being a tad bit on the stiff side, I thin the leg openings on this pair are a hair more forgiving that those on the Zebra briefs, though it’s definitely not an incredibly large difference.
Overall: 3/5 – all in all, there are places where the JC Zebra brief is better, and places where this AC Animal Attraction brief is better, basically putting these on balance with each other from what I think is an objective standpoint. From a subjective standpoint, one of the things I personally care about the most is how well it supports your junk, and while the JC Zebra brief has softer and more forgiving fabric, the pouch itself is still pretty flat and thus not as good for general wear, IMO, even if the pair feels more obvious; the legs are also (somewhat surprisingly) more forgiving, which is great for my thighs. Also, this AC pair is simply flashier too, so those together are why I’m giving this pair the 3/5 to just barely edge out the 2.5/5 of the Zebra brief.
Great for: Sexy wear
Good for: Everyday wear

Zelda – Boxer Brief – Hyrule Map – M

055

Material: 95% Cotton, 5% Spandex, and oh so comfy =3 Very soft, nice gentle stretch. Sits in the middle ground between being very breathable and very warm – it’s either of them, but that’s because it doesn’t err to over-emphasizing either aspect.

Aesthetic: It’s not often that you see a fantasy world’s map on underwear! If you’re a nerd like me, or you just like seeing new things, this is a great pair. And the map overall looks great too color- and design-wise, so even if you’re not a nerd or into crazy designs, it still is a nice semi-different-but-not-too-out-there look; gold, brown, and black is almost always a nice mix.

Waistband: About what you would expect of a waistband, or at least what you would hope for, especially on a pair that seems built for comfort and relaxation. Not too short, not too tall, very soft, very stretchy. The red Zelda logo on the front is a great touch, too.

Pouch: Nothing super-impressive, but very comfy! Has enough space up top and lower down, plus does a moderately good job of keeping the boys away from your legs.

Backside: Pretty plain in terms of shaping features, but the nice map design makes it un-boring to look at. The soft, comfy material feels great over the entire back area. There’s a double tag in back, but it’s so soft you don’t notice it at all.

Legs: As with the rest of the pair, pretty comfy; nice stretch to them, and long enough for my liking.

Other: I honestly don’t know what to call the “brand” here – I ordered these from ThinkGeek, but it literally just has the Legend of Zelda logo on the back tag. X-D

Overall: 3.5/5 – nothing too incredible, but an overall solid, reliable, practical pair that will always be a good pick when you’re getting ready in the morning (or if you’re going to ComiCon!)

Great for: Everyday wear, Loungewear, Sleepwear

Good for: Activewear(?), Sexy wear(?)

SEXY NEW STYLE ALERT! REX & GLAM

REX The original torso tank top made from stretch metallic lamé. Body hugging fit designed with an arched chest plate, contoured hem and stylish back seam.

GLAM An adaptation of our ever-popular “RAVEN” jockstrap made from stretch metallic lamé. Front pouch with contoured seam for optimum fit and form. Arched back yoke connects comfy, enclosed elastic straps complemented by custom engraved D-ring at hips.

Two reblog reviews in one!

First off is the Rex tank top, which looks stunning just on its own (but even more so with the Glam jock)! It’s hard to see in the top panel here, but there’s an “arched chest plate” included apparently to help with the shape of it all. It’s very, very form-fitting through to torso area too, so it certainly looks like you need to have a certain shape to pull it off. It’s so tight. Plus, it’s 80% Nylon 20% Spandex, so the material combined with the tightness means it’s probably tough look to pull off. But if you can do it, it looks amazing!

The Glam jock is made of the same material, but it’s looking pretty comfy here. The jockstrap’s literal straps seem wide enough and not bunching up, so that’s nice. The bottom panel shows the straps going right up over the rump cheeks, though, so instead of a strong jockstrap supporting your ass, you need a strong ass to support the jockstrap. The top part of the backside looks really cool, though, and those D-rings across the hips are hot. Unfortunately none of the panels really show off the pouch, but from what I can tell there’s not much to show off since the metallic material smooths things out.

As I’ve mention before, I love it when you have something to match a given pair of underwear, so despite the fact that I’m nearly certain I could never pull off this look with my shape, I’m really hot for this set…

What Dya think of those jocks?

Oooo a very sexy Modus Vivendi jockstrap! The dark-blue-and-gold color scheme is very classy, and the pouch itself looks very soft and comfy. It looks more cotton-y and shape-y than you’d expect in a traditional jockstrap, which would use a more athletic fabric and just strap you down, but I won’t complain about comfort for my junk! Also, the traditional jockstrap look is still very nicely present here with the rather tall waistband, and the practical-looking, kinda-thin, elastic straps. Would love to have this pair in my collection!
