The mesh of this pouch makes me think that this is the MAX ULTRA Thong, since I don’t think anything else Ergowear carries features a mesh like this. The image currently on their site looks like a higher ratio of fabric-to-holes, but it still fits pretty well!

Most of the Ergowear pairs I have are from the Feel line, but I do already have some MAX thongs, and you can see on those or see right here that the MAX pouch has a much stricter and more intentional shape to it. While the idea is completely different than the loose pouch with under-support of the Feel line, it is also executed basically flawlessly – Ergowear absolutely lives up to its ergonomic name with their pouches!

On this particular pair above, of course the major feature is the mesh itself. Just from the image here, it almost looks like a rubbery, plasticy kind of fabric, but not one that would be incredibly uncomfortable. For the record, the fabric is listed as 85% Nylon, 15% Lycra, the latter of which definitely has not been mentioned much on this blog! It’s definitely synthetic, but I’m very interested as to how this would feel. =-)

First: I have two reviews almost ready to put online, one of which will be posted this weekend! Not sure what my schedule will be going forward, but I’m looking forward to this, and hope to write a review at least weekly.

Next: I have to admit that I’ve treated myself a bit over the past two or three months in terms of purchasing new pairs. X-D Here’s a preview of them all, at least one pair per order:

For the record, the brands shown above are:
(Chinese brand, faux Garcon Model/Marco Marco?)
Blanc [2 not pictured]
Andrew Christian
Sheath
AOElement
(Chinese brand)
VeniMasee [1 not pictured]
Breedwell
WangJiang
Separatec [3 not pictured]
Ergowear
AlphaBox [1 not pictured]

It’s ambitious, but I’m hoping to write reviews for most or all of these pairs! Take care, everyone. =-)

Getting back on track

Just spent parts of the last two days going through and fixing links in all my old posts as well as adding categories to them! Just about every post of the last 8m or so now has a category and fixed links, which amount to a bit more than half of the blog overall.

Anyway, the other things I did today was take some new pics! I go back to work tomorrow, but hopefully I’ll get around to writing new reviews soon. I think, once I get a queue built up again, I’ll try for a post every four days or so.

I’ll try to intersperse those with “reblog” reviews like I have previously, but I’ll have to figure out exactly what that means here on WordPress. I may rely on finding pictures on Tumblr still or on Sharesome (yes I’ve joined there too) to copy and paste into this blog. I don’t know of an easy way to “reblog” WordPress posts from other people, or even how to easily find other men’s underwear blogs to find such posts in.

I do have some other ideas of what to do for posts, though. I’m thinking of doing grouped reviews of brands overall, or specific lines of underwear within brands (i.e. the “Feel” line from Ergowear, or any “Almost Naked” pairs from Andrew Christian). Whatever I do, I’ll try to keep posts coming here!

Of the seven or eight Ergowear pairs that I own, I’ve reviewed five of them thus far; one owned but not yet reviewed is the Feel Suave Mink Bikini, which I plan to give a full review for in the future, though admittedly it’ll be pretty similar to the Feel Suave Mink Miduct I’ve already reviewed.

However, right here is a great example of the Feel pouch I so love, as this fine specimen of a man is modeling a Feel Suave Mink Bikini himself and really filling that pouch out! Look at how well it cups under the family jewels… The Suave material also just simply feels great against the skin.

As much as I like the Feel pouch, I will say that the Midcut and the Thong (which I also own) really provide a ton of great support; the Bikini here, somewhat surprisingly, doesn’t hug & support your junk quite as well IMO. Maybe I’ll post a visual comparison in the future, but I think the reason is that the Feel pouch does better when it follows the V-lines more – which the Midcut and Thong do, while the Bikini here has the pouch spanning nearly from hip to hip. The wider pouch thus has a bit more “openness” in the horizontal direction. Maybe you like that, maybe you don’t! I personally prefer the Feel pouch on the Midcut and Thong.

That said, this is still an amazing Bikini brief! Also one of my favorite pairs.

Ergowear – FEEL Modal Long Boxer – White – M

050

Material: 90% Viscose, 10% Spandex, but it feels sooooo soft and almost cotton-y. Also very lightweight! Just like the Max Light Thong I reviewed a while ago. (In fact there will be a lot of similarities to that thong in this review.)
Aesthetic: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: classic white is classic for a very good reason (when well-done). Like with that Nike Pro image I linked, I really liked how all the promotional images for this pair had these really long legs, almost coming down to the models’ knees. Sadly, the legs don’t seem to reach quite as far on me… almost like it’s a classic midcut instead of a long boxer. Either way, though, still a pretty good look IMO.
Waistband: Very soft and comfortably stretchy material – never feels too tight or too loose, being juuuust elastic enough to sit there around you. Sits above the hips, right where they meet the torso.
Pouch: The exact same Feel pouch as before – I just love it. =3
Backside: Basically the same backside description as the previously reviewed Feel pairs as well. I say basically instead of exactly, though, since it looks a bit to me like there’s a tad bit more shaping going on, both around the underside of your cheeks and with the seam down the center. It could just be a function of the color and material, though.
Legs: As mentioned earlier, the legs aren’t quite as long as I though they would be, but that’s about the only drawback on these! Like the back panel, they’re skin-tight but never in a way that gives you an uncomfortable squeeze. And the material here is great since it’s fairly low-friction (not quite as low-friction as the Ergowear “suave” line but lower-friction than the “original” line.)
Overall: 5/5 – I don’t know if I’ve said it before, but I think Ergowear is my favorite brand, and this is just another reason for it. This pair is similar to the midcuts I reviewed earlier, but it gives me a sense of more practical-wear stuff than the midcuts, which seem a little more informal- or intimate-wear. Just an overall great pair of underwear that’s certainly worth including in your drawer.
Great for: Loungewear, Everyday wear, Sexy wear, Sleepwear
Good for: NA

Recent orders

I know I haven’t written a ton of my own posts recently, and that’s gone hand in hand with not having bought a ton of underwear recently either. In fact, of the underwear I have bought over the past three months, I haven’t even opened most of them!

I had some time earlier today, though, and will have some time tomorrow morning as well, so I decided to finally pull ‘em all out of their order bags today and start trying things on. In addition to some underwear pics I’ve had backed up, I might actually start building up a queue again! The shock X-D

What this all includes: a CheapUndies order that includes a few Ginch Gonch pairs (including a second “bull” boxerbrief) as well as my first Clever and first CellBlock13 pair; an overdue N2N order, two pieces from a FreshPair order (Ergowear shorts and an Andrew Christian Xpose singlet… which will be very NSWF if I show it); and finally, two pieces that I bought at a store in Rehoboth Beach, including my first top.

I wore the Clever brief today, am wearing the N2N lounge shorts, (and tried the white sheer onesie, which didn’t work so well,) and will wear something else from this collection tomorrow I think. Also got one other pic as a mini-review for you next…

Ergowear – Max Light Thong – Blue – Small

033

Material: 90% Viscose, 10% Spandex, but it feels sooooo soft and almost cotton-y. Also very lightweight!
Aesthetic: The medium-height white waistband atop the color pouch is a very clean look, and I love the bit of stiching that goes down the center seam of the pouch – makes it look all the more like a soft, traditional cotton sewing piece.
Waistband: Very soft and comfortably stretchy material – never feels too tight or two loose, being juuuust elastic enough to sit there around you. Sits above the hips, right where they meet the torso.
Pouch: Oooooo I love Ergowear’s pouches. I would simply like to my previous Ergowear reviews except that this is from the Max line, not the Feel line. The seam under the balls doesn’t come up to them as closely, an instead the Max line has a more structured but equally comfortable pouch that lifts by virtue or its shape and still has a ton of room up front that also stretches very nicely. Ergowear living up to its ergonomic name!
Backside/String: Not much to say here! The little back panel just below the waistband is nice and hides the very soft, unnoticeable tag. The string itself has some width to it, which is great if you like your thongs to have that feel of something sliding up between your cheeks and resting against your hole. The fabric again is very soft, so as long as you like that aspect of thongs, it’s incredibly comfortable.
Legs: NA
Overall: 5/5 – another absolutely wonderful thong that you should get! I have a second pair of these, in peach instead of blue, myself.
Great for: Everyday wear, Activewear, Sleepwear, Sexy wear
Good for: NA

Ergowear – Feel Midcut (Original//Suave) – Blue//Mink – M//S

003

image

Material: 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex, but boy is this a flexible combination! I’m doing something a little different with this post and combining a review on two different pairs that are the same cut but different materials (and different sizes). Ergowear is a fun Chilean brand that offer normal and “Suave” versions of many of their products, with the former usually feeling more cotton-like and the latter, made with microfiber, feeling much more slick. Both are quite comfy. You WILL pay more for the microfiber, though.
Aesthetic: All products in the Feel original and Feel Suave lines are a simple, solid color – and the colors are all quite nice, none too loud but all interesting. (The Feel Classic and Feel XV lines all have a larger waistband that can be a different color than the main fabric of the pair.)
Waistband: What I like about Feel original and Feel Suave is that there’s basically no waistband at all.  You may think that makes it hard for the pairs to stay on you, but the top hem of the pairs all have the smallest hidden elastic waistband you can imagine – and it works so well! Avoiding a large waistband means avoiding any risk of it folding over as you sit during the day. Plus, it gives the pair a great low-rise look overall. (As low-rise as it is, it’s incredibly easy to whip your willie out to go #1, so the lack of a fly is no problem at all.) For more reading on no-waistband underwear, check out https://www.underwearexpert.com/2015/12/no-shirt-no-shoes-no-waistband/
Pouch: Ergowear’s Feel lines have one of the best-looking and most-comfortable pouches of any underwear I’ve ever worn or seen. The pouch itself is incredibly roomy, but it does still have a nice bit of shaping to it, and it’s attached to the rest of the pair in a way that comes up under your balls to provide a nice and (generally) very comfortable lift. (Every once in a rare while, the under-seam may feel like it’s pulling the underside of your balls up uncomfortably, but that only happens if you’re moving around A LOT or it you wear the pair for too long, as guys sometimes are wont to do.) TBQH, I sometimes have trouble avoiding playing with myself a little bit whenever I wear these pairs, thanks to how great this pouch feels.
Backside: Perfectly taut around your cheeks and upper thighs, holding you in and giving you a great shape without ever feeling like it’s squeezing you at all. Tag is soft and almost never noticeable.
Legs: Like the back panel, they’re skin-tight but never in a way that gives you an uncomfortable squeeze. I love the length on these, as I’ve found that boxer-briefs with shorter legs tend to have the legs ride up on my big thighs – when the legs are long enough, though, the hem of the leg is far enough down that my thigh shape has tapered a bit and the legs thus stay in place. The original line has the very slight problem that wear from rubbing appears somewhat early in the pair’s lifespan, (with friction that you’ll notice from time to time while moving around,) but it’s a minor problem and not something you’ll have to worry about with the lower-friction microfiber of the Suave line.
Other: The sizing here is an interesting note. I have one Small pair (the Suave) and one Medium pair (the original) and I can barely tell the difference. The Suave pair might be a tad bit tighter in the legs, but that’s about it for me. Also, while the Feel Midcut Suave is easily one of my favorite pairs, it unfortunately no longer appears to be in production in that combination. Ergowear still sells non-Suave Feel Midcuts, Suave Midcuts from other lines, and various cuts of Feel Suave underwear, but just not the Feel Suave Midcut itself. Much sadness.
Overall: 4/5 original, 5/5 Suave – the original only gets knocked in comparison to the amazing Suave line, with the rubbing and wear between the legs noticeably in comparison. Get a pair (or three) of Ergowear Feel underwear in your underwear drawer!
Great for: Loungewear, Sleepwear, Everyday wear
Good for: Activewear (Suave), Sexy wear
