T-shirt, briefs, and socks: simple, but effective!

Both the T-shirt and the majority of the briefs here are that casual grey hue and texture that I absolutely fall for, with the white of the waistband being an effective visual break line for the overall look – otherwise it would kinda look like a onesie (and, while I love this grey tone, I think an unbroken top-to-bottom pale grey outfit would look maybe a little slobby. No problem with that here, though!)

Interestingly, I don’t generally like those tall, generic white socks if you’ve got something more involved going on with the rest of your look. However, the fact that the waistband is also white actually gives a feeling (if probably unintentional) that the socks are intentionally matched to the briefs, instead of the “well these are just the socks I have” look that they would give otherwise.

I appreciate both the tightness of that T-shirt and the nice, shapely rounded package this bro is sporting… =3

Compared to yesterday, here’s another instance of whitey-tighties paired with some white socks. Generally a good look! And this pair of C-in2 briefs certainly looks fresh and tight, with a mid-low waitsband and a nice pouch! Something about this look still feels a little off to me, though… Maybe it’s just the pose/environment; looks like a very bland photoshoot to me, and the guy isn’t bringing any real energy to it. I bet this outfit would look better in the comfort of a home… 😉

Thirsty Thursday 8/29

Who doesn’t love a good spread-leg crotch shot? >3 Don’t want to keep this stud waiting!

The Tommy briefs here look quite soft and well-filled-out; got some folds showing, but this is one case where I think some plain whitey tighties still look quite hot on a guy who wears them well! (I’ve discussed whitey tighties and what makes them sexy before.) Not to mention whitey tighties plus white socks (especially with the hoop-stripes here) is definitely a look…

This guy is also just the right amount of hairy for me…

There was another spread-leg crotch-shot just-hairy-enough waiting-for-you pic from last week’s Thirsty Thursday, with a nice view of the underballs area, so let’s see that one again too, shall we? And those thighs! Definitely makes you wanna get your face all up in there…

Here we have a white Timoteo jockstrap and Adidas socks, with what looks like a nice mesh on the pouch of the jockstrap. I’m not sure if the socks (with their stripes in particular and with their logos) work as an outfit with the jock itself, but when you throw in the tatts and the blanket, it all honestly works pretty well together. Props to the photographer for the composition here.

As for the jockstrap itself, you can see the mesh pouch as a nice shape to it, and the waistband has a nice look to it with the typical TIMOTEO branding around the entire thing. I’m intrigued by the mesh of the pouch, too… Looks like it might be two-layer mesh, with fairly small holes, which I would personally think would be fairly comfortable and breathable while also giving nice support. I’m interested in getting this pair!

I actually don’t have a ton to say about this Curbwear “Identity” line brief, but I figured some people might get a kick out of the advertised “Power Bottom”. X-D

The outfit’s okay I guess. Nothing on Curbwear’s site sticks out to me as these being special undies aside from the labels on the waistband.

I don’t think I’ve looked at anything from Skyy before, but this jockstrap is a nice first look! I always like a striped waistband, and that looks like a pretty solid pouch. (Maybe slightly mesh-y or traditional jockstrap material?) This guy should have blue-striped socks instead of red-striped socks, though; everything else about the “outfit” really works with that jock!

Today I learned: Timoteo and Cellblock13 are two sides to the same brand!

That probably explains why this jockstrap+socks pair happens to work so well. I’ve mentioned before that I love looks that pair underwear with something else, and some nice socks are often a great way to go. (Other good options: undies+shoes, undies+tank top, undies+hoodie, undies+harness.)

Unfortunately I can’t quite tell exactly which Timoteo jockstrap this is… From the waistband, I can tell it’s not the Aero-Tech or the Ultra Sport; from the pouch, I can tell it’s not the Racer; and from the straps, it’s not one of their jock briefs. Still, the pouch looks similar to the Aero-Tech or the Ultra Sport, with its solid white color and especially with its great shape. =3 The waistband is nice and tall apparently, which is something I think is particularly fun with jockstrap (a nice throwback to old-school, really workout-focused jockstraps).

The Cellblock13 socks, though, I can identify – they’re blue Viper socks. Honestly, I think I prefer these Vipers over anything currently available on the Timoteo/CB13 site – they have enough design features to not be boring, the the design features themselves are fairly simple and not overdone. The banding also gives these a nice, rugged look IMO.

I haven’t heard of the brand Jockfighters before, but I think I really want some now! There are a lot of different pairs highlighted in this photo set here, and I wanna say a quick bit about each.

The jockstraps here (panels 1,2,4,6,9) have simple but soft-looking straps and utilitarian but also cotton-y-looking pouches, so they look pretty comfortable to me. The waistbands on the jocks, which are both patterend nicely and nicely wide, also looks great.

The briefs here (panels 3,5,7,8) have really fun peekaboo holes in both the front and back, and nice full coverage in back. Most of the pics above have the models’ dicks coming out the front peekaboo hole, but I have to say you get a nice hint of the front pouch’s shape in panel 7, similar to the nice pouch shape seen in the jock in panel 1.

The jock briefs in this set (sadly not pictured) are called “chaps jockstraps” and look really cool to me – nice peekaboo hole in front like with the briefs, then having some wider side-panel-leg-strap-things that look really supportive to me.

Lastly, I’ve said before how much I like “complete look” sets, and the socks here certainly add that flair! They look really soft, too, and I like the height (jocks + tall socks is just such a great look IMO).

I love the look of these Mandate jockstraps! The waistband, particularly from what you can see around the back, looks really comfy. The cage-like design of the pouch is really eye-catching – and of course the color combinations help in that sense, too!

Speaking of color combinations, though – the real reason I want to reblog this (and the next reblog too) is that this really highlight another thing that turns me on – match underwear+other clothes! Socks, shoes, t-shirt, hoodie… I dunno, the thought of specifically coordinating your underwear with the intent of showing off said coordination just seems really appealing to me.

Here, we see NastyPig Mandate socks specifically designed to match. (NP also offers Mandate Briefs if the jockstrap is not your thing.) Considering that socks are often one of the last things to come off, very similar to undies in that sense, it’s a great look to “complete”.  And NP certainly seems to like their socks! I also own black+white NP brief and a blue NP jockstrap in my collection as well, with NP socks to go with each. I guess there’s just a sort of a get-down-to-”business” look when you pair undies with matching socks, (i.e. not bothering to completely take everything off,) and NP is certainly made for guys that like to get down to business!
