For a brand named “Jockmail”, you’d expect them to mostly make jocks – but here’s what looks to be a very jockstrap-like bikini brief! Specifically, this is the “JM304” on Jockmail’s website, and they do specifically call it an “almost jockstrap design”. All that’s different is that the space bounded by what would otherwise be your straps is instead one entire (though obviously not full-coverage) back panel.

The waistband here looks like it has a nice height to it, and the pouch has a nice round shape to it, so I’d certainly try it out! The plain single color works here with the white brand title on the waistband, as it’s a strong hue, giving the pair a simple-but-bold look.

Speaking of that pouch… I’ve shared a Jockmail pic before, a jockstrap (the JM203) with a MUCH bigger bulge! The pouch there also seems to be made with some breathable mesh panels on the sides, which sounds like it’d be nice and breathable for exercise (or other vigorous activity). Not sure if it would pass my squat test, though.

I don’t think I’ve reviewed Private Structure before, but I’ve seen them around multiple times. They’re a fairly no-nonsense brand in the sense that they don’t produce anything super-flashy but cover the basic necessities and then give them just enough color (with options) to be functionally stylish.

Most of the underwear – briefs and trunks, largely – have a typical waistband that sits fairly low. The pair here certainly fits all points – fairly basic design, color but not over the top, normal waistband, at the hips – and here we also get to see a bit of the bulge as well. Seems like it stretches enough to hold this guy in, but it’s fairly snug. Not necessarily in a bad way, but it is something I would think about when considering purchasing a pair of my own.

Andrew Christian – Laguna Jockstrap – Laguna Stripe – M

057

Material: 85% Polyester, 15% Spandex, to give a very smooth, breathable, though definitely synthetic feel. And while it’s definitely synthetic, it’s not annoyingly so – there is a softer, “realer” side to this synthetic material. And I think I’m talking about the pouch here – as mentioned before, anytime the waistband and/or non-pouch material makes up a significant part of an undie, I’m not quite as confident what the listed material combination actually refers to.
Aesthetic: White/pink/light blue/dark blue is a great, bright, fresh-looking color combination that makes me think of an ocean sunrise, which is probably the intent for a “Laguna”-named pair. Not to mention that horizontal stripes are almost always successful at making a fun, engaging appearance.
Waistband: Very typical, about what you’d expect for a waistband. Sits at the hips, though you can probably pull the sides up if you want and it wouldn’t be very different.
Pouch: Relatively plainly shaped as far as AC pouches go! This despite the fact that it’s advertised as an Almost Naked pouch. Roomy enough, and the edges are put together to keep you inside even if you’re packing a fair amount. It probably is called Almost Naked because it has a nice shape to it but it otherwise looser to let you move around a bit, in which case it definitely qualifies as Almost Naked – but, because it’s a jockstrap, there’s a certain necessary amount of structural integrity to the edges of the pouch, since there’s no other structure around, so like the Night Animal Jock it’s not fully what I’d expect of Almost Naked (though, unlike the Night Animal Jock, the lower border of the pouch doesn’t feel tighter than wanted).
Backside/Straps: Basically exactly the same as the Night Animal Jock, except that I’d say the tag here might be a tad bit more forgiving, so that’s good!
Other: This pair also passes the junk-out-below-the-pouch squat test!
Overall: 3.5/5 – I’m not sure exactly what prompted the change in their production between the Night Animal Jock and this Laguna Jockstrap, but  the slightly better tag and solidly better material mean that this pair gets a full point more. Definitely a better example of how well AC does jockstraps!

N2N Bodywear – SL1 Slinky Thong – Royal Blue – M

056

image

Material: 94% Acetate, 6% Spandex, described as “super stretchy ribbed fabric” that almost borders on mesh. I say it borders on being mesh both because of that ribbed texture and because you can almost see through the pair, especially when you stretch it. I’ve said before that mesh can be hit-or-miss if it lets your skin get “bumpy” through the mesh, in which case it gets uncomfortable having those skinbumps rub against anything else, e.g. your pants. Having a fabric that’s essentially super-tight-knit mesh here avoids that problem, and I love its texturing and breathability (also something that makes it mesh-like). It’s a lot thicker than basic net-style mesh, though, which adds a level of softness that I’ve never gotten on net-style mesh before. (I contrast net-style mesh with the “mesh” you get when you basically poke regularly-spaced holes in otherwise normal fabric, like some of the lightweight low-cut singlets I own.)
Aesthetic: Slinky and dark blue! Solid color usually works well for thongs, and no exception here. Even if you can’t really see through the mesh when it’s in-wear, you can see that it’s a fun texture, so that’s kinda fun too.
Waistband: Nothing more than a fold-over hemmed section of the same mesh material that makes the rest of the pair. It makes the “waistband” feel like it’s almost not there, and it’s a great mix between stretchy and tight.
Pouch: I’ve mentioned once or twice before that @N2Nbodywear often has great pouches, and this thong has one of them! It comes out pretty well in the pictures above, and it’s really comfy from the inside too. It’s tight- and shaped-enough to provide excellent support, while the overall shape and material still allows for fairly free movement of the package as a whole, which is good if you’re moving around a lot (and for groping!)
Backside/String: The one little drawback for this pair is that the texture and tightness of the fabric make it feel like it cuts in ever so slightly above your tailbone… You can see in the picture that it dives down between my cheeks somewhat quickly. That aside, though, it’s still a very nice backside! The tag is more solid than other tags I’ve encountered but not noticeable (maybe a side effect of the ribbed tightness over the tailbone?)
Overall: 4/5
Great for: Sexy wear
Good for: Activewear, Everyday wear(?), Sex wear(?)

briefsboy25:

There’s not much to review for these Tristar briefs (a brand I must say I haven’t heard of before) since this pair appears to be so low-rise that it’s leaving quite a draft for the wearer! And we can’t even see most of the pair, but the strong red color is intriguing.

Not a pair I would likely wear, but I do like this view…

Contour – Prive Full Brief – Navy//White – L//S

047

Material:

98% Cotton, 2% Elastane, and it feels like it – almost but slightly not

quite like pure cotton. There’s definitely a slight stretch holding the

material together, and a small cooling effect.
Aesthetic:

Single color, slight texturing, no waistband – they went for simplicity

here, and the effect was well-executed! Nothing here greatly grabs your

attention, but it’s a big enough cut to give a somewhat slimming effect,

and the pouch will get your attention with the lack of anything else

doing so.
Waistband: Not really there! I mean, it is, but it’s

wrapped in more of the general fabric itself, which is pretty nice.

Interestingly, even though I got two noticeably different sizes for this

design, (they didn’t have M available when I ordered but I really

wanted to try this design,) there was almost no difference in how tight

the waistband felt. The difference in size made itself more known in the

backside than in the waistband.

Pouch:

Again, very simple, but effective as such! Kinda flat, but can countour

enough to give a good bulge if you wear your willie downward.

Definitely comfortable; like many of the pairs I’ve reviewed, the pouch

has a double layer of fabric, in contrast to the single layer through

most of the pair.
Backside: Just a plain expanse of fabric – so it’s

comfortable enough, though not a ton to look at, although you can see

the texturing of the fabric. The contrast between the L and the S makes

itself obvoius here (and not the waistband, interestingly) with how that

“expanse” stretches over your ass (or not). You can see that the L navy

pair covers my whole ass fairly well, while the S white pair is very

clearly stretched tight over my cheeks, and the back of the waistband

comes up lower; it’s meant to be “full coverage”, but it’s having

trouble doing so… So it all really depends on the look or feel you

want to have, whether you pick S, M, or L with this pair. The “tag” is

just printed on the insde of the back, as you can kinda see in the pics

below. Not something to worry about! Unless you happen to get sweaty for

whatever reason.

Legs:

Similar to the issues with the backside, the fit/comfort on the legs

depends on which size you’re talking about here. The leg openings on the

L navy pair were almost loose, while they were definitely tight (though

not cutting) on the S white pair. Either way, the leg openings

themselves are designed pretty well, and like the waistband are just

more of the general fabric, just slightly smaller overall and fairly

comfy.
Overall: 3/5 – like the AC Basix pair, I think this

Countour Collection is a great addition to your collection just as an

everyday, general wear pair of undies. Unlike the Basix, though, it

doesn’t seem like a ton of extra design thought was put into it – i.e.

it’s a little on the plain side. But plain can be good!

rufskin:

Alejandro Garcia  + briefs Rufskin model: _pirengallego_

This here is a great glamour shot of Rufskin’s Arfan Brief; while the pic is B+W, the brief comes in Navy blue and pink. It’s mostly cotton with a little bit of spandex included, so I’d imagine it’s insanely comfy material-wise.

From the pics on the Rufskin website, the pouch looks pretty simple. It’s not apparently built to be super-promoting, but it seems like the material itself is very welcoming, conforming to your junk while also hugging them close.

This pair caught my eye, though, because of the backside (if that wasn’t a big, obvious DUH already!) X-D I’m always a fan of a peekaboo panel, and the mesh on the lower part of the backside if sun too! Though I’d have to feel to see if this mesh is a hit or a miss, since I’m usually 50/50 on how mesh ultimately feels.

This pair perfectly embodies “business in the front, party in the back” and I want one. X-D

James Tudor – Military Brief – Navy – Small

040

Material: 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane, I believe – I say that because the tag on both pairs of this that I own washed away very quickly, and James Tudor’s website is no longer up. This mix of material is what I can see on general underwear sales sites, though, so I’m fairly confident in it. The pair doesn’t feel quite as cotton-y as you’d expect, because everything is on the thicker side and seems to have a surface treatment of sorts, but it’s all still very soft and comfortable.
Aesthetic: I LOOOOOVE the look of this design! The front flap panel with buttons up both sides is incredibly unique (and moderately suggestive) with some very classy trimming around the flap, up the front right below the waistband, and along the edges of the backside. The font on the waistband is also a rather nice touch.
Waistband: A little on the tighter and stiffer side, but overall still fairly comfortable. The tightness could very well be from the fact that it’s a small instead of my normal medium.
Pouch: The nature of the flap fly, combined with how thick and soft the flap itself is, means there’s little to no shape at all to the front of this pair – it’s nearly a joke to call it a “pouch” like most of the underwear I’ve reviewed have. From the left and middle panels of the image above, you can probably tell that it’s supposed to be fairly flat. That said, it’s still absolutely amazing. It’s padded enough that it doesn’t feel incredibly restrictive, and the innovative flap/fly design honestly holds you in place very comfortably. From the inside, there’s an un-piped opening like in the Jack Adams Core line, leaving your willie to sit comfortably between the flap and the rest of the brief for most of the day. Need to use the restroom or otherwise get access? The buttons are really easy to use, and unlike with vertical flys, the two-sided design lets you pick which way your willie leans.

You really only need to undo just one of the six buttons to use the fly, but two (on the same side) is better – and you can get QUITE a lot of access by undoing all six buttons! At that point, you’re essentially dealing with a crotchless brief that happens to have a flap hanging off of it. All in all, very comfy and very easy to use.
Backside: A little on the tight side, but that might be because this is a “small” pair instead of my normal “medium”.
Legs: The leg opening here are also a little on the tight side, more so in crotch area than around the back of the leg openings. I’m not sure if moving makes you more conscious of the tightness, or if movement relieves consistent tightness. X-D
Overall: 3.5/5 – I’ll give this pair the benefit of the doubt and say that the tightness is just from the sizing. As such, a slight knock on the material is generally overcome by the great look and flap-pouch.

The bikini now available @ n2nbodywear.com 💥 #N2NBodywear

N2N coming along with another great, waistband-free pair of underwear! The fabric here looks reeeaaally soft and comfy, with N2N’s great pouch on display too. I’m not quite sure how this X12 “The Bikini” is different then @n2nbodywear‘s other bikinis, though you can still visually tell it’s a different cut of sorts… I’d love to hear what thought process went in to all the details of N2N’s bikini selection! I think I like the Mint color for the X12 more than the navy shown here, though….
