Just a guy sharing his love for underwear of all kinds!
Just another simple but fun Joe Snyder thong! I love the color here, and this angle is great for showing off the Joe Snyder pouch shape. =-)
It’s also a continuation of my “oh, this brand is related to that brand?” education, as Joe Snyder seems to be one side of MaleBasics… And there’s some working relationship between MB/JS/MOB and CandyMan, JOR, Clever and even Ergowear! Whoodathunkit?
Yes!! I absolutely love them and really enjoy designinging new styles. I plan on making it much more than a fetish.
My goal over the next 3-6 months is to build my name (brand) here and on other social media’s by posting new content, as well as doing a bulk up/fitness transformation on my Instagram/Twitter. You guys can follow that as it happens and you’ll get to really enjoy that transformation on here 😏
After that I’m going to start stripping at a bar here in Atlanta that has reached out! I’ll let you guys know where you can visit me when I start 😈.
After some years there, while still working my day job. I’m going to pay off my my student loans and save up enough to buy the equipment to start a studio here in Atlanta. Or if that doesn’t seem like a feasible plan, I will start selling my underwear designs online while dancing and working my day job so that I can continue to save.
Eventually I’ll have enough money or collateral to open my dream. A bar/club/bathhouse with my underwear/menswear store connected that has fantasy themed rooms so I can shoot my own pornos in them. As well as an outdoor pool and tanning area for the summer months.
Then I can invite all of you to live out your fantasies without any inhibition, you can recreate our pornos yourself right where they were filmed, and you’ll even be able to wear what the Pornstars did! Perhaps you’ll even see them there spicing things up 😈
My ultimate goal is to have a very positive influence on the industry and I would like to leave it in a better place than it is now. I plan to charge only what is necessary for my underwear and not 40-120$ a pair. I plan to pay my employees their fair share and not take home selfish amounts for myself that I don’t need. I plan to have a portion of proceeds from all of my endeavors go back into the community in the form of mental health support for youth as well as opportunity centers for the less fortunate. I plan to treat my fellow pornstars with respect and dignity knowing that they are valuable and that this industry makes more than the NFL NBA and MLB combined every year. I plan to make the industry or atleast my brand somewhere people want to work where they can feel respected and dignified, not somewhere they go as a last resort or because they felt forced. I plan to make movies that have an actual story line that you can follow, with convincing acting that doesn’t make you cringe or skip to just the fucking.
Sex is a beautiful part of life that allows everyone to forget their problems and differences for a minute so that they can completely relax and release. An industry that powerful and beautiful should not have such a horrible reputation for being run by grimy, greedy men with barely any benefits for the actual entertainers. It is time for a change, and I hope that you guys can get behind me on this. I know it will lead to higher quality content and more fun for all of us!
Always love hearing how much other guys love their underwear! And damn if this isn’t a really fun (and sexy) idea. =-D
I can’t say I’ve heard of the brand “GYM” before, but I do quite like their mostly-traditional take on the jockstrap here! Nice tall waistband, tag in front, and that telltale pouch material… The casual grey color is also a great attribute here IMO.
Today I learned: Timoteo and Cellblock13 are two sides to the same brand!
That probably explains why this jockstrap+socks pair happens to work so well. I’vementionedbefore that I love looks that pair underwear with something else, and some nice socks are often a great way to go. (Other good options: undies+shoes, undies+tank top, undies+hoodie, undies+harness.)
Unfortunately I can’t quite tell exactly which Timoteo jockstrap this is… From the waistband, I can tell it’s not the Aero-Tech or the Ultra Sport; from the pouch, I can tell it’s not the Racer; and from the straps, it’s not one of their jock briefs. Still, the pouch looks similar to the Aero-Tech or the Ultra Sport, with its solid white color and especially with its great shape. =3 The waistband is nice and tall apparently, which is something I think is particularly fun with jockstrap (a nice throwback to old-school, really workout-focused jockstraps).
The Cellblock13 socks, though, I can identify – they’re blue Viper socks. Honestly, I think I prefer these Vipers over anything currently available on the Timoteo/CB13 site – they have enough design features to not be boring, the the design features themselves are fairly simple and not overdone. The banding also gives these a nice, rugged look IMO.
I probably shouldn’t be at all surprised, but I didn’t know Joe Boxer made briefs! I thought they just did boxers and boxer-briefs…
I’m not exactly sure what pair this is, since there clearly isn’t a fly here… I don’t see any flyless Joe Boxer briefs except for bikini briefs, and those don’t generally have material around the hips or a big branded waistband like the pair here has.
Anyway, the way the model is sitting here, it’s a bit hard to judge the true shape of these briefs. The material looks very soft and comfortable, but I’m wondering if the pair is slightly bigger on him than it should be, with how much the fabric is kinda folding up in places.
Still wouldn’t mind trying a pair like this myself at some point! Especially if it’s borrowing from the model here. X-D
Here we have a Fort Troff jockstrap – which I’ve actually already reviewed! So I guess really all I’m doing is sharing a pic of this hunk… You don’t mind, do you?
Material: 60% Cotton, 40% Polyester, but all you feel is the cotton, so it’s a really nice, traditional feel IMO. Aesthetic: A strong solid color is complimented by a bold white waistband with black text and a slim black stripe all the way around. Waistband: Overall, very comfy typical waistband that sits below the waist. Pouch: In my mind, there are three main things to think about when designing the front of men’s underwear: keeping everything comfortable & separate, promoting your package (physically and aesthetically), and granting ease of access when nature calls. Unfortunately, it’s often very hard to balance all three, specifically balancing the third against the first two. Why? Well, if you want to make a fly, the historically you either have to include two layers of overlapping fabric (the traditional vertical fly on classic whitey tighties) which would generally promote flatness from the extra layer, or have an optionally closable slit on a flat front (the sometimes-buttoned fly of true boxer shorts) which is flat because having such an opening in a contoured pair would just have your junk falling out all the time. Many designers are just forgoing the fly nowadays since most men don’t use flies anyway. Brands have also tried traditional vertical flies with highly contoured pouches, which I’ve alreadydetailed as somewhat defeating the point because those flies are nearly impossible to navigate, (certainly can’t be done one-handed,) and often hurt to have your dick sticking through. Well, the horizontal (“H”) fly is one really, really great way to eliminate the “fly challenge”. An H-Fly is inherently easy to navigate, (assuming neither limiting hem is too stiff,) and it allows the lower panel of the fly to still be a single-layer, nicely shaped section of fabric – and Jack Adams’ Core line is an amazing example of a H-fly. Like the AC brief linked above, the inside hem of the fly is simply a semi-loose trim-/pipe-less edge of fabric, and the outside hem isn’t so high to make it difficult to use (unlike the AC brief where the outside hem is too far right). And while I’ve had some athletic boxer briefs from Jockey that also have H-flies, this Jack Adams pair had a much more contoured pouch, plus was made from a much more “everyday” fabric than the Jockey pairs were. This combination was why I ultimately bought three more Core pairs – another Cycle Trunk, a shorter-legged Boxer Brief, and some Long Johns (which unfortunately compromised the lower support of the pouch somewhat).
Backside: Nothing incredible about the backside here, but it’s just tight enough to give you a bit of shape. The vertical center seam comes in just a bit, too. Legs: Very good length, IMO, and also just tight enough to not feel uncomfortable while still staying up against your skin. I mentioned the Boxer Brief earlier, which is still nice in most manners, but the legs on that pair are short enough that they roll up often and actually do start feeling tight around my thighs. Overall: 4.5/5 – the only reasons I don’t give this the full 5/5 “I totally recommend this!” is that 1) I can see some people note liking the fabric, and 2) I can’t recommend that something that’s no longer available! I’m highly frustrated about that second point. At the very least, it seems that Jack Adams is making new trunks and newboxerbriefs that have very similar cuts to the Core line, though none with the 60% Cotton/40% Polyester blend. Great for: Everyday wear, Loungewear, Sexy wear Good for: Activewear, Sleepwear, Sex wear
This is one of my favorite pairs and one of (I think) one of my best reviews to date, so I thought I’d bump it back up while I’m working on new posts!
I had previously opened up my “ask” page for anyone who wanted to know more about a particular review or ask me to wear & review something I haven’t yet, but I just went and also gave you all the option to submit your own pictures and reviews! I have a “Submission” page now open as well as the “Questions & Requests” page. =-)
Also, let me know if you want to model one of my pairs, or you want me to model one of yours! I’m betting we can probably arrange something….
=EDIT= Since I’m on WordPress now instead of Tumblr, use the “contact” option at the top of the page, just beneath the title header!
Want to know more about about a particular review I’ve done?
Have a pair that you’d like me to review?
Just curious to know more about me and my thoughts on underwear in general?
I’ve opened up the question page! Anonymous accepted. =-)
I believe this is the Petit-Q Nautical Thong (PQ150003) with these blue and white stripes. The offset between the stripes across the front of the pouch is part of the reason I think so, since that seems to be an intentional part of the Nautical design in every image of it that I’ve seen.
The other thing is that the pouch here is being filled out much more so than the other images of it that I’ve seen. X-D Which is great to look at now, but also means that the pouch on this pair is going to be A+ in comfort. (The size and shape of the pouch here reminds me of the Cocksox CX05 Thong!)
The other, more subtle difference between this pic and others I’ve seen of this pair is the the hips straps here aren’t as tall as they are in many of the other (official?) images. That’s probably just an effect of wearing them, since I’ve seen things bunch up or roll up before. That’s usually a sign of a slight design defect, since bunching/rolling makes things a little less comfortable than intended.
That all said, I still would certainly try this pair! I’ve had some sizing issues with previous Petit-Q pairs (I need to review those at some point) but I love the look of the pouch here (and I love that Cocksox thong I linked earlier) and the stripes are great aesthetics too! The blue and white is a great color combination, too.
