I ran out of queue the other day, and I’m sure people have noticed I’ve been quiet on the reblogs as well. Just been busy recently! I think I’ll officially leave this blog on a short hiatus for a bit. It’s my birthday weekend next week, but I’ll be busy then, so might not celebrate it until the week after. Taking a few weeks off (and maybe getting some new undies during that time) should give me opportunity to rebuild a queue back up. So never fear! Undie Reviews DC will return officially in mid- to late-April. (Might do some reblogs before then, TBD.)
CheapUndies – Touch Brief – Blue – Medium
045

Material: 95% Modal, 5% Elastane, very smooth and almost cooling feel to them.
Aesthetic: Simple and classic with one nice solid color. Slightly sporty with several vertical lines in the seam and piping. Strong-looking waistband, and if you check out the entire Touch line, it’s a masculine, down-to-earth pallet overall.
Waistband: Feeling-wise, what you expect of most waistbands. Sits between the hips and waist in most promotional images but fits more on my waist; good size.
Pouch: Very comfy! Great shape. It comes up under the balls nicely, and then gives you a fair amount of space, more lower than higher.
Backside: Full-coverage and nicely smooth.
Legs: The leg openings themselves are pretty nice, and they feel like they fit nicely around your thighs. However, one thing I noticed after a while of wearing them was a slight pinching feeling from the back arc of the leg openings. Definitely needed to readjust to be comfortable every once in a while.
Overall: 3.5/5 – I would really like to give this a higher score, since this is generally a very comfy pair, but the occasional pinching from the back side of the legs means I can’t rate it too highly. I hope it’s just because my ass and thighs are a little too malleable, so maybe the legs stay comfy much better on more fit guys.
Great for: Activewear
Good for: Everyday wear, Loungewear, Sexy wear(?)
Nasty Pig – Champ Brief – Blue – Medium
044

Material: 93% Modal, 7% Spandex, soft enough while also being nice and smooth – gives a very generic but good feeling, IMO.
Aesthetic: Sporty! I think the stripe pattern on the waistband has a specific name among design people, which I totally don’t know off the top of my head, but it definitely evokes the sports team looks, along with the big logo right in the middle. The brief itself is very simply designed with nice, strong vertical lines.
Waistband: Overall, very comfy typical waistband that sits below the waist.
Pouch: Like with the Venom Brief, there are actually two layers of fabric in the pouch area itself, presumably to add a little extra cush (and remove a little bit of friction) around your junk. In fact, it’s almost the exact same as the Venom pouch except the bordering seams are ever so slightly a little bit more angled on the Venom pair. No reason to fix what isn’t broken!
Backside: Also like the venom pair, it’s a simple backside that makes sure to cover your entire ass very nicely. =-)
Legs: …yeah, read the Venom review for this too. X-D
Overall: 4.5/5 – The only reason I don’t give this the full 5/5 like the Venom brief is because it doesn’t look as cool as the Venom brief does.
Great for: Everyday wear, Sex wear(?)
Good for: Activewear, Loungewear, Sleepwear, Sexy wear(?)
Piado – Bamboo Brief – Orange/Blue – Medium
043

Material: 94% Bamboo Rayon, 6% Lycra, really interesting! I’m not really the best at describing fabric types, but I’ll take a stab at saying that this bamboo fabric seems to be an interesting middle ground between cotton and Modal. I’m saying this in comparison to the next two briefs I’ll review, which are both mostly Modal, but of course there’s the caveat that neither this pair nor either of those is 100% of a single material, and small amounts of a second material can greatly change how a fabric feels. The bamboo rayon is also really breathable, and almost sheer.
Aesthetic: Two tones of the same general color plus white piping/trim and text gives these pairs a simple, light-hearted look. The general design is also one of practicality, as they haven’t done anything different than a “traditional” brief aside from the color and fabric.
Waistband: Nicely soft, but otherwise a fairly typical waistband. Sits at or below the waist.
Pouch: A rather nice, somewhat-shaped pouch for briefs that still has a readily usable traditional fly! You can see from the front view that it does provide some nice lower room, while the fabric is also stretchy enough to provide up-front room if you want it (e.g. side view). And since it uses a traditional vertical fly, I have to pass judgement on ease of use – and it’s probably the most accessible traditional fly on any briefs I own! There’s certainly a fair amount of horizontal overlap of the panels, so there’s no risk of you ever falling out, but the opens are tall enough and the fabric – and, in particular, the piping – is so lightweight and stretchy that it’s really, really easy to pull the openings around, reach in, and pull your willie out. Heck, it shares something in common with the classic CK briefs in that the opening are so forgiving that you can pull your entire junk out easily, and on top of that, they can all hang out without it feeling uncomfortable like your balls are about to be cut off!

I have a picture similar to the one above for the CK briefs, but I was so hard in that pic, I consider it far too porn-y for this blog. Also, the openings on the CK briefs are a bit tighter than here, I assume because of the cotton material being a bit stiffer, so I couldn’t recommend the extraction for as long with the CK briefs as I would for these here.
Backside: Fairly typical backside – but also very lightweight and thin (in a good way). You can see in the back view above an imprint of the tag, which is printed on the inside of the fabric instead of being a physical tag attached to the waistband.
Legs: The leg opening here are barely noticeable – not tight and not loose, they fit just right.
Overall: 5/5 – the only potential criticism of this pair is that the fabric might be almost too thin for some people, you might feel your pants too much. But I say it’s great! Good underwear should both feel like it’s not there while simultaneously making you unaware of the stiffer parts of your pants.
Great for: Everyday wear
Good for: Sleepwear, Loungewear, Activewear, Sex wear(?)

Been a while since I’ve reviewed a Bruno pair, hasn’t it?
While Bruno has a ton of great underwear options, (seriously, go check out their website now!) I think this might be a rare miss from them. The straps of this thong don’t look incredibly comfortable, and the backside (you can see it on the Bruno website) also looks like a rather uncomfortable “start at the hips and meet down lower at the tailbone to cut between the cheeks” design… I’m not hyped about the material makeup, either.
…I know the red/white/green is a nod to the Mexican flag, but it’s really making me think Italy on this particular pair instead… >.<’‘‘ It needs a gold or black stripe down the middle of the white stripe.

Some very sleek Modus Vivendi (bikini?) briefs on this one! =3
Obviously low-rise, these bikini briefs have hip bands that are about as short as they can be while still actually having fabric there – get the sides of the brief much smaller, and you’d be switching to literally just strings attaching the front and the back panels!
Although you can’t fully tell with this greyscale pic, I’m guessing these are plain white bikini briefs, but definitely way more flattering than traditional whitey-tighties are. Not only is the bikini cut generally more flattering, but it looks like a very well-shaped, single-layer pouch on the pair as well.
Oh hey, I hit 100 posts. That’s pretty cool!
Justin Case – Zebra Brief – Zebra print – Medium
042

Material: 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex, and it definitely feels synthetic. Even though the sizing of the pair is appropriate, the pair always feel just a little tight/gripping, and I’m guessing that’s from the fabric. It’s not a pair that makes you feel like you’re not wearing underwear at all – it’s definitely there, especially around the edges. It’s slightly sheer, which is kinda fun, and the smooth, low-friction feel is nice too.
Aesthetic: Zebra print is always fun! It’s broken up a little by the extra fabric for the pouch, but it still works well. The waistband is bold without being to obtrusive.
Waistband: Confortably elastic, though the material isn’t quite as soft as it maybe could be. It’s listed as 32-34 but still feels a little tighter than that while slipping it on.

Pouch: There’s an extra layer of fabric here, I assume to make it a bit softer and to protect your junk from whatever pants you’re wearing, but it doesn’t feel anything special with the extra layer. Not a lot of shape to this pouch, but at least it’s not constricting in any way, and still holds your junk up nicely enough.
Backside: Not much to say here… Just another backside, mostly! As mentioned before, you can definitely feel that the fabric is there.
Legs: The leg openings on the pair as ever so slightly on the tighter side, mostly around the hips and in front of the thighs (thankfully not in the crotch itself). The tightness isn’t really that uncomfortable, but the hems do leave marks on my legs (which is partially on me with my big thighs).
Overall: 2.5/5 – nothing particularly bad about the pair, but nothing particularly good either. If you want that “animal” look in the bedroom, absolutely go for it!
Great for: Sexy wear
Good for: Activewear, Everyday wear
